Have a look at lanzarote1.com website, they have some good options to suit all types of budgets. Also check out the Lanzarote Holiday Gazette website for accom, places to go and things to see. You can pick up one of their free magazines when you are in the resort of PDC.
Loads of restaurants to go to from fast food to Chinese Buffet (we like the Hong Kong chinese buffet on the PDC prom next door to Tito's €6.95 per adult, you can eat as much as you like and the price includes a modest dessert). El Drago on the promenade next door to Visanta, has a good varied menu to suit all types, owned by two local boys from Tinajo, not expensive.
Def. have a trip to Puerto Calero - lovely marina, good bars and restaurants there, upmarket. 5 mins in a car or taxi from PDC (taxi would cost approx. €7 euros).
Playa Blanca is also lovely - you could tootle there on a number 6 bus, costs approx. €3 one way.
Local buses are cheap.
Perhaps best and cheapest way to get around the island is by car - approx. €30 euros per day.
Lots of night life on the promenade in PDC and also some bars in the old village (pueblo) - be careful if you venture to the Centro Atlantico after 2am.
Lanzarote Property Management have lots of properties to choose from - remember to opt for a heated pool as this time of year the water could be too cold to swim in if the water isn't heated.
Agree with previous comment, the Fariones apts and suites are in a great location.
Hope you have a wonderful holiday - I've lived here for 29 years and hope that these comments have been of help :-)
Enjoy! Life is too short not to!
